Here I am in Killingbeck Roman Catholic Cemetery in Leeds at the grave
of Jimmy Savile's parents - a few of the clan by the
looks of it. I'm not sure why Jimmy wasn't buried here as he idolised his mum. He was born here in Leeds, the
youngest of seven children to Roman Catholic parents. His dad Vincent was a
bookmaker's clerk and insurance agent and his mum was Agnes. His mum considered
her son’s life was down to prayers to a nun called Margaret Sinclair who she
prayed to when her son was ill with (probably) pneumonia.
